Bangladesh is on the list of 15 countries in danger

The global report is titled 'WHO Report on Global Transfat Elimination 2020'. So far, 57 countries around the world have adopted a policy to eliminate trans fat. Through which, 320 crore people are protected by 2021. quite 100 countries are still in danger of transfats thanks to a scarcity of policies.
"This may be a time when the entire world is fighting the Covid-19 epidemic, and everybody must work together to shield the health," said Tedros Adhanam Gebreisas, director-general of the globe Health Organization, at a virtual event marking the discharge of the worldwide report on transfat. The goal of achieving a transfat-free world by 2023 cannot get delayed.
Meanwhile, researchers in Bangladesh have found the presence of harmful trans-fats in Dalda found within the market. Studies have shown that heyday levels of trans fats are related to higher rates of cardiovascular disease, dementia, and amnesia. The study, published last Saturday, found that 92 percent of the market got found to contain over ten times the number of trans fat in partially hydrogenated oil (PHO) or Dalda. The presence of a maximum of 20.9 grams of trans fat per 100 grams of PHO possesses observed, While the planet Health Organization has recommended a policy of recommending a maximum of two grams of trans fat per 100 grams.
